BCSA is committed to expanding the Overseas Learning Journey each year by establishing strategic partnerships with international organisations, creating valuable learning opportunities, and empowering local cybersecurity talent to thrive in an increasingly interconnected digital world.
The BCSA Overseas Learning Journey (OLJ) is a flagship initiative by the Brunei Cyber Security Association (BCSA) that provides Bruneian students, young professionals, and cybersecurity practitioners with international exposure to the global cybersecurity ecosystem.
Through visits to leading universities, government agencies, cybersecurity organisations, research institutions, and technology companies, participants gain first-hand insights into emerging technologies, industry best practices, and real-world cybersecurity operations. The programme also promotes knowledge exchange, professional networking, and collaboration with regional and international partners.
The Overseas Learning Journey is designed to strengthen technical competencies, broaden global perspectives, and inspire the next generation of cybersecurity leaders in Brunei. Participants have the opportunity to engage in technical briefings, workshops, panel discussions, laboratory tours, and networking sessions with cybersecurity experts and industry leaders.
