Terms of Use
The terms that govern your use of BCSA's website, membership, events and members' services.
Last updated: 19 July 2026
Acceptance
By using this website or any BCSA service — membership, events or the members’ threat-intelligence feed — you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the services.
Membership
Membership is subject to approval, the applicable tier fee, and the BCSA constitution and rules. Fees are stated at the point of application. Membership benefits apply only while your membership is active; lapsed members may lose access to member pricing and members-only content until renewed.
Event tickets
Event registrations are confirmed once payment is received and verified. Tickets are issued to the named attendee. Unless stated otherwise for a specific event, please contact the secretariat regarding changes, transfers or cancellations — refund terms for each event are set out at the point of purchase.
Threat-intelligence content
Advisories, briefs and exposure information provided through the members’ feed are for the recipient member’s internal use and are shared subject to any traffic light protocol (TLP) marking shown. The information is provided in good faith and on an “as is” basis; it does not constitute a guarantee of security and should be independently verified before you act on it.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the services, attempt to gain unauthorised access, disrupt the platform, or share members-only content or your sign-in credentials with people who are not entitled to them.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, BCSA is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brunei Darussalam. Questions about these terms can be sent to contact@bcsa.bn.
Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a revised “last updated” date.
